You are considered a Returning Student if you have previously attended Northland Community & Technical College and are returning after a break in enrollment.

The following documents are required in order to register at the college as a returning student.

1. Online Application
Select the campus you wish to attend: East Grand Forks or Thief River Falls. Fill out and submit the online application.
(Note: RN students must apply through the TRF campus. The paperwork is processed on the TRF campus on for the RN program.)

2. High School Transcript
Complete the high school/GED transcript release form, sign, and send or give directly to the last high school attended. Your transcript cannot be sent without signed permission.

3. College Transcripts
Send this college transcript release form to ALL prior colleges you have attended. Many colleges require a fee prior to mailing out an official transcript. You may wish to contact the college(s) you have attended to inquire about a possible transcript fee.

4. Immunization Form
The immunization form is designed to provide the school with the information required by the law and will be available for review by the Minnesota Department of Health and the local community health agency. Minnesota Law (M.S. 135A.14) requires proof that all students born after 1956 are vaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus, measles, mumps, and rubella, allowing for certain specified exemptions. Any non-exempt student who fails to submit the required information within 45 days after first enrollment cannot remain enrolled.

5. North Dakota Reciprocity (Online Application)
This web-based reciprocity application is designed for North Dakota residents attending public colleges and universities in Minnesota. The online reciprocity application is the easiest way to apply for reciprocity benefits.

6. Financial Aid
You may also apply for financial aid online. The Federal Financial Aid school code number for both the East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls campuses for financial aid purposes is 002385.
