Pioneer women’s basketball signs seven new recruits
Northland Community & Technical College Head Basketball Coach Guy Finstrom has signed seven new players to the Pioneer women’s basketball team. Brittany Wiseth, a center from Lincoln High School; Cassie Gunderson, a forward from Lincoln High School; Danelle Schommer, a forward from Win-E-Mac High School; Brittany Kirkeide, a center from BGMR; Lakiyah Brown, a guard from Camden, NJ; Ashley Sundeen, a guard from Lakota, ND; and Bridget Lunde, a guard from Maddock, ND, have signed letters of intent to play women’s basketball for the 2009-2010 school year.

History of Women’s Athletics at Northland College Project
One of Deb Jacobson’s projects she wanted to work on after retirement was to compile the history of women’s athletics at Northland. Deb Jacobson has created a group on Facebook and currently has 82 former athletes as members.
